India@75 in collaboration with Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN) organized a One day Seminar on “CSR for Shreshth Bharat” on 08th October in New Delhi.

Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman, Hon’ble Minister of State for Commerce, Industry, Finance and Corporate Affairs was the Chief Guest. The event was also graced by Ms. Lalitha Kumaramangalam, Chairperson – National Commission for Women, Mr. Chandrajit Banerjee – Director General – CII and Mr. Rajan Navani – Chairman – National Committee on India@75

PROBONO Leagal Workshop

India@75 organized a Pro bono Legal Workshop with Hewlett-Packard (HP) & I Probono on 21 August, 2014 in New Delhi. The session was led by HP’s in-house lawyers and lawyers from INDIALAW who have experience in rendering advise on legal issues commonly faced by CSOs in the course of their work. The workshop was a kick starter for other projects towards implementation of Phase 1 of the Pro bono initiative. 15 lawyers from HP & India Law provided their Pro bono services to 17 CSOs.

The presentations covered plethora of topics that the non-profits face in their day to day activities, such as incorporation of CSO, Finance and Taxation, Data Privacy, Intellectual Property, etc.

Concourse-Building Sustainable Society with Volunteers

India@75 and Youth for Seva (YFS) had organized a conference for volunteering in New Delhi on 8 August, 2014 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Late Prof CK Prahalad. Function was attended by more than 115 participants from corporate, NGOs/ CSOs and intermediaries working in the volunteering space.

Mr Rajan Navani, Chairman, National Committee on India@75, Mr Lalit Gupta, Joint Secretary, Min of Youth Affairs & Sports were the Guest of Honour and Mr Mohan Giri, MP (Lok Sabha) was the Chief Guest for the function amongst many other learned speakers.

Launch of "Aspirations For The Elderly In India" Report by IbIn

India Backbone Implementation Network (IbIn) Bengaluru Node launched the National Consultative Report on "Aspirations For The Elderly In India" on 7th May, 2014 in New Delhi. The event was presided over by Mr. Arun Maira, Member, Planning Commission & Dr. Syeda Hameed, Member, Planning Commission.

India@75 will jointly take forward this initiative with the IbIn Bengaluru Node.

India@75 – The People’s Agenda

In 2008-09, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Boston Consultancy Group (BCG) undertook a pan India visioning exercise to validate the vision of Late Prof CK Prahalad. The exercise covered complete spectrum of society including students, housewives, slum dwellers, farmers, bureaucrats, academia and politicians amongst others; over 1000 interviews, 125 workshops with over 10,000 participants including 6 Chief Ministers were conducted to evolve the vision document "India@75 - The People's Agenda".
